World Cancer Day – Where it all Started
World Cancer Day was founded by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) in support of the World Cancer declaration which was written in the same year. This initiative began, in order for individuals across the globe to unite against our global cancer epidemic.
Think Pink in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Take a look at your handbag collection… 90% of them are probably black. I’m not here to judge, because my collection is in need of a splash of colour as well. As we are rapidly approaching the summer season, we should be peeling away the dark knits and bulky fabrics and embrace colour again in our wardrobes. We are also in the midst of October, which is the month dedicated to honouring brave women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. In doing so, the colour pink has become a fashion staple this month, creating awareness for the cause....
